Dr. Rushil Solanki is a Consultant Gastroenterologist, Hepatologist and Endoscopist with extensive experience in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures. He is proficient in ERCP with Spyglass cholangioscopy, diagnostic and therapeutic EUS, single and double balloon enteroscopy, endoscopic mucosal resection, manometry with biofeedback, and has 3 years of experience managing emergency GI bleeding, IBD, severe acute pancreatitis, and ACLF cases.

How do I prepare for a colonoscopy?
You will receive detailed prep instructions when you schedule your procedure. Generally, you'll follow a clear liquid diet the day before and take a prescribed bowel prep solution. Avoid solid food for 24 hours before the procedure.

What should I bring to my first visit?
Please bring any previous medical reports, endoscopy or imaging CDs, a list of current medications, and your ID. If you have been referred by another doctor, bring the referral letter.
How long does an endoscopy or colonoscopy take?
The procedure itself takes 15–30 minutes. Plan to be at the clinic for about 2–3 hours including preparation and recovery. You will need someone to accompany you home.
Is endoscopy painful?
Most endoscopic procedures are done under sedation, so you won't feel pain during the procedure. You may experience mild throat discomfort or bloating afterwards, which resolves quickly.
